Jamie J. Van Gompel, M.D., is a neurosurgeon at Mayo Clinic’s Rochester, Minnesota campus. His clinical focus areas include pituitary tumor outcomes, vestibular schwannomas, chordomas, esthesioneuroblastomas, skull base tumor outcomes, epilepsy, and cortical and deep brain stimulation for medically resistant epilepsy. Dr. Van Gompel publishes on clinical outcome projects centered on pituitary tumors, esthesioneuroblastomas, acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, chordomas, chondrosarcomas, spontaneous cerebral spinal fluid leaks, as well as skull base anatomy and approaches.
