Description
Dr. Vidit Sharma is a urologic oncologist and surgeon scientist specializing in cancers of the urinary organs. His expertise includes advanced and complex kidney tumors, prostate cancer, bladder preservation strategies, and testicular and penile cancers requiring specialized lymph node dissections. He performs both robotic and open surgical procedures and directs the Mayo Clinic Nephrectomy Registry. Dr. Sharma completed medical training at Northwestern University, residency at Mayo Clinic, and a urologic oncology fellowship through UCLA and Mayo Clinic, where he also earned a master’s degree in Health Services Research.
